Welcome to the Nourish Vegan Awards!

We are excited to judge all plant based products in an award chapter dedicated to them. We aim to find and reward food or beverage products that provide a nutritious plant based alternative with no compromise on taste and texture.

The Nourish VEGAN Awards® are a prestigious award program for the food & beverage sector. Launching for the first time in 2023 as a stand alone Award Chapter of the highly acclaimed Nourish Awards® with 12 plant based categories.

The Nourish Awards® have been running since 2018 and are widely recognised in the industry for their robust judging process and criteria for businesses of all sizes.

We accept both UK and International entries. Products should provide a healthy alternative with less sugar, less processing, good nutrition and ingredients. We are looking for wholesome and nutritious plant based food & beverage products that will appeal to a wider market.

Entry Criteria
The awards are for packaged food, and beverage products that are typically sold in supermarkets, independent retail outlets or online. We also have a special category for Cupboard Essentials & Ingredients – which is important to recognise and share with consumers.

Products should provide a healthy option. This means that not only they are plant based but we would also like to see products that are either low or lower sugar or free from refined sugars and chemical sweeteners where possible. Plant based eating should not be based upon consuming low quality processed foods or high amounts of sugar. We expect to see products that provide a good source of protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals – as well as being delicious and appeal to a wide market, not only consumers on plant based diet, but to anyone. This will help increase the consumption of plant based foods that everyone can benefit from – including the planet.

The shortlist is determined based on the judges scores. Winner will be identified based on judges nomination for award, scores and overall judges feedback. We award Gold, Silver and Bronze and Special Awards for the Best Organic and Best Ethical Products.

Our judging panel includes expert nutritionists and nutritional therapists, chefs, free-from and food industry experts – who are either vegans or vegetarian themselves or are experts in plant based nutrition.
