Founder of Jess Cooks
After over a decade of working with children and food, there’s not much Jess doesn’t know about what kids like to eat. In 2011 she launched her children’s cookery business The Cooking Club, and spent the next eight years teaching over 600 kids aged 7 – 17 all about food. During this time she also ran regular workshops for children with special needs, learning all about how to help some of the most challenging cases of fussy eating and food avoidance. In 2019 she decided to pour all of this knowledge, as well as her passion for food and cooking, into Jess Cooks – her own range of nutritious and delicious meals for children, currently stocked by the East of England Co-op and sold online. She’s spent the last two years single-handedly building this business up to where it is today, learning (sometimes the hard way!) all about the complex ins and outs of the food and beverage industry.
