The Nourish Awards are judged by an expert panel of professionals including practising and qualified nutritionists, naturopaths, dietitians and other health and food industry experts such as food technicians and buyers.

Judging takes place at our offices in Gloucestershire in the beautiful Cotswolds over several weeks. In 2024 the judging is scheduled for the first three weeks of June.

The judges are presented with all product information and product samples, prepared by our catering team in our in-house kitchen. They score each product then rank products in each category to nominate them for medials.

The shortlist is generated using the average scores and the winners are determined based on the judges nominations and individual product feedback.

It’s a long and thorough process which we believe sets the Nourish Awards apart from most other awards in the industry. The Nourish is a very prestigious accolade awarded only to the best.

We award as many medals in each category as the judges see fit. In each category we award Gold, Silver and Bronze. In addition, we have 3 Special Awards: Best Organic, Best Ethical and Innovation Award. The winners of this is determined based on the judges nomination for each.
